Journey to Ladakh Itinerary
Your Ladakh tour starts today. Reach Delhi airport to catch your flight to Leh. Upon arrival at Leh meet and receive a warm welcome from our tour representative. He will further assist you with a guided transfer to one of the pre-decided hotels. Complete the check-in formalities and enjoy the day leisurely while acclimatizing yourself. A high-desert city, Leh is truly enchanting. Bestowed with stupas and a number of attractions, the city is a dream destination for many. A labyrinth of small streets adds to the rustic charm of the place. An overnight stay is arranged at the hotel.
On Day 2 of your Ladakh trip, you will be visiting the famous Alchi Monastery. Reckoned as one of the popular tourist destinations and the oldest monasteries in Ladakh, the gompa receives a huge footfall. Featuring the oldest surviving minutely carved paintings, the Gompa lies on the left bank of the Indus River. En route, you will drive across the Magnetic Hill. A hotspot for avid bikers, the place steals the limelight for a number of reasons. You can find many bikers defying the laws of gravity here. Afterward, there is a halt at the confluence of Rivers Zanskar and Indus in Nimu. Enjoy a short break and click lots of candid pictures. This is followed by continuing your drive to the monastery. On your way back to the hotel, delight in an excursion to the Military Hall of Fame. Constructed by the Indian Army, the museum speaks volume about the chivalry of the soldiers who happily laid their lives for India. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3 of your Ladakh trip package is reserved for an excursion to the Nubra Valley. Get up early in the morning and enjoy a road trip to the valley. While on your way, drive past Khardung La. Hailed as one of the highest motorable roads in the world, the mountain pass is home to Nubra and Shyok Valleys. Marvel at the astounding vistas of the nearby gorges. Cherish an excursion to the Hundur and Diskit monasteries, lying in close proximity to each other. Nestled in a village of the same name, the Hundur Gompa is a popular Buddhist Monastery. Whereas the Diskit Monastery belongs to the Gelugpa (yellow hat) sect of Tibetan Buddhism. A huge statue of Maitreya Buddha in the gompa beguiles the onlookers. Once done with the monastery tour, get ready for yet another amazing experience. Now you will be exploring the white sand dunes. Here, you will partake in Camel Safari on double-humped camels. Also known as Bactarian Camels, these creatures are found only in Nubra. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.
Get ready in the morning to visit Samstanling Monastery. Tucked beautifully amidst picturesque mountains and greens, the gompa looks truly spectacular. Shades of red, golden and white add a traditional touch to it. After exploring the monastery, you return to Leh via Khardung La. Fulfill your shopping spree in the evening. Visit the local markets of Leh. Fill your bags with some amazing stuff such as Pashmina shawls, wood carvings, masks, handicrafts, pearls and more. Bring home souvenirs and memorabilia that will keep on reminding you of this unforgettable Leh Ladakh trip. An overnight stay is planned at the hotel.
Your Ladakh travel package also includes an excursion to the Pangong Lake. While on your way, you will drive past Chang La. A high mountain pass in Ladakh, Chang La commands good driving skills owing to its steepness. From here, your drive resumes to the lake meanwhile crossing Tangtse and Durbuk villages. Small yet enchanting, Durbuk village exudes its own charm. On the other hand, Tangtse is famous for housing a monastery of the same name. You will reach the lake in the afternoon. Also known as Pangong Tso, the lake is a mesmerizing jewel of Leh-Ladakh. Set-up your tents nearby to enjoy camping at Pangong Lake. Treat your eyes to the marvelous views of the surrounding area. The lake is known to change colors throughout the day. From azure to light blue to green, it even becomes grey too! After relaxing for a while, visit the villages located nearby to get an insight into the local culture of Leh. Enjoy an overnight stay in the tents.
Wake up early in the morning to capture stunning views around the lake. Grab your camera and click some candid shots. Later, savor scrumptious breakfast and start driving towards Leh. If you want to, you can take a rest at Hemis Monastery, one of the largest and richest monasteries in Ladakh. Upon arrival in Leh in the afternoon, get comfortably transferred to one of the pre-decided hotels. Check-in and spend rest of the day at leisure. - Airlines/Room up-gradation and complimentary will not be entertained during the tour unless if specified at the time of booking
- There is no refund for any services not utilized during the tour.
- Security deposit is required either in cash or credit card by hotels which is refundable provided no room incidentals are incurred. This security deposit is not included in this quote and must be paid by the guests/corporate directly to the hotel when checking in.
- Guests are advised not to keep valuables in the coach/vehicle while sightseeing. The Company shall not be responsible for loss of valuables from the coach / vehicle . If the coach / vehicle is accidentally or otherwise damaged by the Guest, s/he will be required to pay compensation for the same.

- Cancellation Policy:
- In the event of cancellation of tour / travel services due to any avoidable / unavoidable reason/s we must be notified of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows:
- 60 days prior to arrival: 20% of the Tour / service cost
- 15 days prior to arrival: 35% of the Tour / service cost
- 07 days prior to arrival: 80% of the Tour / service cost
- 72 hours prior to arrival OR No Show: No Refund
- Our Liabilities & Limitations:
- Please note that after the finalization of the Tour/ service Cost, if there are any Hike in entrance fees of monuments / museums, Taxes, fuel cost or guide charges – by Govt of India, the same would be charged as extra.
- Payments:
- For the services contracted, 30% advance payment should be made to hold the booking on a confirmed basis and the balance amount can be paid at least 15 days prior to your date of departure from your country. We hold the right to decide upon the amount to be paid as an advance payment, based on the nature of services and the time left for the commencement of the services. Apart from the above in some cases like special Flight train journeys, hotel or resort bookings during the peak season (X-Mas, New Year) full payment is required to be sent in advance
