Haridwar would be your starting point for the trip. As a result, meet our representative outside the Haridwar Junction. Afterward, you will be escorted to Joshimath. The route to Joshimath from Haridwar witnesses the confluence of the holy rivers (Alaknanda and Bhagirathi) and forms Sangam. As you reach Joshimath, staple your identity at the hotel's reception during check-in. Take time to rest because the journey will be a long distance. Upon Joshimath's arrival, explore the market and return to the hotel before dinner hours and overnight sleep.
Without wasting time, wake up early with the impeccable views of the snow-shrouded mountains. Join the morning brunch with your near or dear ones. And then gear up for the sightseeing of Auli (connected via a ropeway from Joshimath or reach by trek). If you take a ropeway ride, get enamored with the snow-capped Himalayas and dense oak forests. Next, you can head to Auli's claim of fame - Artificial Lake. If time permits, trek to Chattrakund Lake (easy trek). Before the sunset, return to your hotel in Joshimath. Relish lip-smacking dinner and then enjoy overnight sleep.
On day 3, you will have more than half-day in hand if you wake up early, have breakfast, and checkout from Joshimath on time. We will drive you to Rishikesh - the famed spiritual head of North India. Upon reaching Rishikesh, complete the check-in formalities. Take a rest for a while before you finally embark on enjoying the day's sightseeing of Rishikesh. After taking the test, gear up to see Neelkanth Mahadev Temple unfold its folklore. Next, visit Beatles Ashram, where they composed dozens of songs and learned special meditation. In the evening, head to Triveni Ghat to witness the Ganga Aarti ceremony. When you are finally done with sightseeing on day 3, return to your hotel room for dinner. Then doze off!! Distance from Joshimath to Rishikesh: 253 kilometers (approx.)
The travel highlight of day 4 would be enjoying the rafting season between the stretch of Shivpuri to Laxman Jhula. This will be an exciting and spine-tingling adventure for you! Ride the rapids of the Ganges and test your adrenaline and endurance. Subsequently, cliff jumping is another highlight. Next, meander through the iconic suspension bridges - Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula. Once you are done with your sightseeing, return back to the hotel. Pack your bags, complete the final check-out and leave for Haridwar. We will drop you at Haridwar in a comfortable vehicle for your onward journey. - Cancellation Policy:
- In the event of cancellation of tour / travel services due to any avoidable / unavoidable reason/s we must be notified of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows:
- 60 days prior to arrival: 20% of the Tour / service cost
- 15 days prior to arrival: 35% of the Tour / service cost
- 07 days prior to arrival: 80% of the Tour / service cost
- 72 hours prior to arrival OR No Show: No Refund
- Our Liabilities & Limitations:
- Please note that after the finalization of the Tour/ service Cost, if there are any Hike in entrance fees of monuments / museums, Taxes, fuel cost or guide charges – by Govt of India, the same would be charged as extra.
- Payments:
- For the services contracted, 30% advance payment should be made to hold the booking on a confirmed basis and the balance amount can be paid at least 15 days prior to your date of departure from your country. We hold the right to decide upon the amount to be paid as an advance payment, based on the nature of services and the time left for the commencement of the services. Apart from the above in some cases like special Flight train journeys, hotel or resort bookings during the peak season (X-Mas, New Year) full payment is required to be sent in advance
